KEA collaborates with companies, interest organisations, other educational institutions and many others. If you have an idea for a project, want one of our students to do an internship or perhaps something completely different, you can learn more about the options you have to collaborate with us here.
Collaboration with KEA
Development of study programmes
At KEA, we believe that the best study programmes are the ones which are developed and started up in cooperation with businesses in the various sectors and industries for which our students are educated. Our students must match the needs of the business community, and that is why KEA works systematically with the businesses that are the prospective employers of our graduates.
The most important forums for the development of our study programmes are:
-
Education committees and advisory boards
Each programme has an education committee or an advisory board which meets regularly to discuss the development potential of the specific programme. In a close dialogue between the programme and the education committee, KEA’s plans for the programme are discussed, and the education committee provides input and suggestions. The education committees and the advisory boards meet two to four times a year.
-
Evaluation of internships and projects
Internships and projects represent the most important opportunities for contact between KEA and the business community. In connection with evaluations, KEA therefore devotes particular efforts to looking at trends and listening to the views of our cooperation partners as regards the ongoing development of the content of our study programmes. In addition, KEA’s internship coordinators also visit host companies in the course of the internship semesters. They cannot visit all host companies in the course of a semester, but select a number of companies to hear their ideas for possible programme improvements.
-
Requirements and business analyses
When developing both existing and new study programmes, KEA carries out thorough and in-depth requirements and business analyses. The HR & QA unit performs regular prospective employer surveys, internship satisfaction surveys and graduate surveys, the results of which are taken into account in the development of both existing and new study programmes.
