Do you want to develop frontend and create UX and SoMe?
Important information about international programmes at KEA
KEA no longer admits new full degree students to English-taught programmes (the so-called international lines). New intakes only take place at the Danish lines. Current students who are already part of an international line can of course complete their education at KEA.
We also welcome exchange students from partner universities, just as we are sending out students on studies abroad.
Multimedia Design is a digital design programme. As a Multimedia Design student, you work with all stages of the digital design process and you acquire skills within the following core areas: User Interface Design and Development, User Experience (UX), Content Creation, Technology and Business.
You learn how to design, develop, plan, manage and produce multimedia products including websites, mobile services, content production and digital communication for social media, and innovative concepts. As part of your studies you collaborate with businesses and organisations during case projects and internship.
Programme content and structure
On the Multimedia Design programme you will work with all levels of the digital design process and you will obtain skills within the areas of front-end design and programming, User Experience (UX), content production and business and technology.
Multimedia Design is an academy profession degree that lasts four semesters (two years). The programme adds up to 120 ECTS points.
During the first semesters, you will mainly be doing individual assignments and minor projects. Later on, you will be focusing primarily on case- work projects. The cases that we use are often made in cooperation with external partners. We believe that project work is the best way for you to learn how to transform your theoretical knowledge into practice – and develop your ability to cooperate with others.
We will be working cross-disciplinarily all the way and, as a guiding principle, the subjects are put together to make a cross-disciplinary whole and are then offered as thematised courses.
We offer five-week themes in which you get a thorough introduction to all relevant subject areas. Within each theme, the teaching is structured in a way that makes it readily applicable to the project work. During the project work, the teachers function as consultants/advisors in relation to both content and process.
We aim to work closely together with companies and organisations relevant to our world.
