Architectural Technology & Construction Management

Architectural Technology & Construction Management at KEA equips students with the skills to manage and coordinate construction projects from design to completion. Over seven semesters (210 ECTS), students learn about residential, commercial, and prefabrication construction, focusing on areas like project planning, technical drawings, material selection, and quality control.

The programme includes courses on construction law, project management, and digital tools such as BIM. Students can specialize through electives and gain practical experience during a 6th-semester internship.

The program culminates in a bachelor’s project that integrates theoretical knowledge with real-world construction challenges.

Exchange possibilities

This programme is only offered in Danish, but on 4. semester of the programme we have an international semester, where exchange students can join in.

IT Architecture

IT Architecture at KEA prepares students to design and build complex IT systems that serve both businesses and users. Over 3½ years (210 ECTS), students learn to approach IT with a holistic mindset, focusing on programming, system design, user engagement, data management, and the latest industry trends.

The curriculum is divided into three key areas: business architecture (IT’s role in supporting and developing businesses), information systems architecture (software development and system integration), and technological architecture (data modeling and cloud-based systems).

Students also gain hands-on experience through a company internship and specialisation opportunities.

This programme is only offered in Danish. 

Optometry

Optometry at KEA equips students to become licensed optometrists, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Over 7 semesters (210 ECTS), students learn about eye health, visual correction, and patient care, focusing on areas such as refraction, ocular diseases, contact lenses, and visual system anatomy.

The curriculum includes subjects like mathematics, chemistry, anatomy, optics, and ocular pharmacology.

Students gain hands-on experience through internships, comprising 18 months of their studies, where they apply their skills in eye exams, lens fittings, and customer service in optometry clinics. The programme emphasizes both clinical expertise and retail knowledge.
