Dwayne Shows benefited so much from KEA Library's webinar on assignment writing and study skills that he thinks it should be mandatory for everyone on the 1st. semester. If you need help you can find them online.

KEA's unique and tireless librarians have not been sitting on their hands just because there has been a lockdown. The library has run various webinars on Teams – e.g. a webinar related to assignment writing and the Q&A ABOUT THE STUDY SKILLS PORTAL aimed at those who write (major) assignments and need clarification on how and where to get help with research, source criticism, references, written presentation, etc.
A lot of students participated in the webinar: 50 in the webinar in Danish and 30 in the one in English.

Along the way, Dwayne Wrote Shows "Thank you, good information. It should be mandatory for all students in the first semester to have a lecture on this. I wish I had known all this when I started my studies."

The webinar gave him a clear overview of many of the tools and resources available through KEA Library.

"I didn't know that many of these tools existed before the webinar, and it would have been nice to know about them earlier in my career at KEA – especially before the final assignment on the 4th semester. Of course, we were told that we could use KEA Library online in the first semester, but we haven't got a list of what's on offer – the only way to find out is by scrolling through all tabs on the library's website," says Dwayne Shows, who would have liked to have participated in several of the other webinars – and in the classes.

"But I have a little daughter, whom I had to take care of until the school opened again."

However, there is still time, because the library's courses are recorded and posted on the website. Next week, for instance, there will be a new webinar about exam anxiety.
